Cozy Box

Stage: project
Project year: 2017
Area: 60 sq.m.
Architect: Cyrill Verbych

Project of a modular house commissioned by an international construction company. The house is designed in the dimensions of the cargo container, which makes it possible to transport it without any obstacles to any point of the planet by airplane or ship. There are several options for planning, depending on the number of residents and their age. The place of docking the modules allows you to arrange them in several floors. There are different types of decoration and color solutions of the facade. The visualization shows an example of the application of facade decoration with panels made of carbon.

The design allows you to install the house on the pontoon. This is very promising for cities in which life on the water is not something surprising.

The house can be installed on a ready foundation, metal frame or piles.
Kitchen-living room is taken out to the glazed end of the house. It creates a sense of being in the open air. Adjustment of transparency and light transmission of windows is carried out due to application of technology of a smart glass.
The end windows can be moved or fully opened.

In the basic configuration, a folding ladder system is used, which allows the roof to be used as a terrace. During the long absence of the owners, the staircase is fully folded, making the terrace inaccessible to outsiders.

Blocks can be placed one on the other, so you can form structures up to 3 floors.
The overhead module works like a tent, the space under which you can use for parking cars.
